Class Descriptions

Silks -
The classic circus art of colorful split fabrics. Our fabric go 25ft up to the ceiling, but don’t be nervous, beginners start on the ground and slowly learn to climb higher. These classes consist of learning different ways to wrap your body in the fabric to perform tricks, climbs, drops, and flexibility poses.

Mixed Apparatus -
We will spend a few weeks at a time exploring one of the following: Lyra (aerial hoop), sling, silks, trapeze, anchor, rope, nets, cube, sphere, straps, loops, etc. This class is designed to give kiddos a chance to explore a big group of apparatuses and learn skills in all of them. We will take our time learning an apparatus and then move on to a new one.

Lyra or Aerial Hoop -
Lyra (aerial hoop) is a big metal ring that hangs in the sky. We have both single point and double point lyra which we learn to flip, pose, be flexible, spin, and drop in. We sometimes focus on sequences or harder to attain skills like dynamics or rolling.

Trapeze -
Our trapeze are true single point dance trapeze which means they hang from one point and can spin! We learn to flip, bend around ropes, and dance in them. We will explore dynamic trapeze, static, and dance. Sometimes sequences and sometimes harder to attain skills like dynamics and rolling.

Sling -
Sling (also known as hammock) is one continuous loop of fabric but is not to be confused with aerial yoga. Although, the apparatuses are similar, sling is used to spin, drop, pose, and flow through fabric in a dynamic performance style. These classes can explore sequencing, flows, dynamics, rolling, dropping, and everything in between!

Flying Pole -
This class is for teens too! This is not an exotic pole class by any stretch of the imagination. In this class you learn to climb, spin, drop, move, split, and execute all types of pole movements. This pole is free floating in the air and not anchored to the ground.

Full Body Flexibility-
Come stretch, roll out your muscle, and strengthen your body. This class is designed for sore bodies and unlocking our mobility after a long week of aerial work. It is also useful as a pre-work class before you ever try aerial classes. Each week we will work on stretches and strength building to get our splits, back bends, and other shrimpy poses. Let’s unlock our inner bendy bodies!

Acro and Aerial Duo -
This class focuses on group stunting ranging from banquine, acro yoga, cheer stunts, dance stunts, group stunts, and more! We explore the different ways we can work as a team to fly our buddies through the air. We also will spend some weeks work on aerial duo up in trapeze, hoop, silks, straps, cube, sphere and more! Come learn to stunt and giggle A LOT.

Teen/Adult Advanced Performance -
This class is by test in only. Please email us for the requirements!

This class is our pre-professional and professional performance team. You will see this group out at the Oregon Country Fair, doing daring solos at The Hult Center twice a year in our performances, and out at our professional gigs all around Oregon! In this class we develop your performances skills, your unique acts, and work towards year round shows.

Competition -
Our studio loves to compete with the best! When regionals and national dates are announced, we launch a series class to help you compete. Check them out as they only happen a few times a year.

Open Gym -
You can sign up as long as you are age 14 or older. This is self directed and instructors will not be available for teaching, recalling moves, or safety checks. It is as the name states, open gym where you work on your own time.
